However you like it. We arrange anything from a champagne tray to a full lunch spread, quoted plainly when you book. Bring your own if you would rather. The crew will have it cold before the lines are off.
Swimwear, a hat, sun cream and something soft-soled or bare feet. Towels, snorkeling gear and shade are already aboard. Anything else you want for the day, tell us and it will be there.
That is half the point of the day. The bathing platform and ladder make getting in and out effortless, snorkeling gear is aboard, and the captain anchors where the water is clean and calm.
The water is the thing: clear enough to see the bottom in ten meters, and warm from June. Most of the best swimming is off the boat in a cove rather than from a beach at all.
The captain decides, and he decides early. If he calls it off you choose: another day that suits you, or your money back in full. You are never left holding a booking you cannot use.
Up to ten on the larger boats and eight on the Saxdor. That is a legal limit rather than a comfort one, and the boats carry it easily.
Yes, of every size. Mention it when you book so the crew can have water and shade ready for them.
No. Timings are from her berth, but if you are staying closer to another harbor we will bring her to you. Tell us where you are and we will sort the rest.
Routinely. "We are going to lunch in Villefranche" has covered a hundred boardings. Brief us on the cover story and every crew member holds it to the quay's edge.
July and August go first, often months out. Everything either side is usually available a two weeks ahead. If a day is showing free on this site, it is genuinely free.
It is far rarer than people fear. This coast is sheltered, the boats are stable, and the captain reads the sea and keeps to calm water. Inside the bays it is often glass. If you know you are sensitive, take a travel tablet an hour before boarding, sit aft in the fresh air, and tell the captain: the route will be shaped gently, and the moment we anchor in a cove most people forget they ever felt it.
Almost always. That is half the point of the day. The captain anchors where the water is clean, calm and safe, the ladder and bathing platform make getting in and out easy, and someone is always watching the water while you are in it.
Yes. Every boat carries proper shade, and the day can be paced between sun on the foredeck and lunch under the awning. Iced water is aboard before you are.
Some of our favorite days. Tell us the occasion and how much of it should stay a secret; flowers, a cake, a photographer or a particular cove at a particular hour can all be arranged quietly.
The two best hours of the day. Out at six with the coast on one side and the sun going down on the other, the sea flattening as the light goes gold, back alongside in the dark.
