Nobody is organizing anything. The pace, the anchorages and the table all bend around your party, and the day ends the way the good ones do. A last swim, towels on the aft deck, and the golden run home.

Somewhere only a boat can reach6 hours

A table held at La Guérite, Club 55 or wherever suits the day, and a tender to the beach. Or the whole thing laid on the aft deck instead, which is what most people choose the second time.

The Principality, from the water5–7 hours

Along the Basse Corniche and into Port Hercule past everything moored in it. Forty minutes from Beaulieu, and the only approach to Monaco that does not involve a tunnel.

Saint-Tropez and back in a dayFull day

Two hours west at a proper pace, lunch at Club 55 or in the old port, and home along the Estérel with the red rock going pink. The one day that needs the fast boat.

Seabobs, and a whole afternoon6–8 hours

Two seabobs aboard, snorkels, paddleboards and a platform you can walk off. Some days nobody gets back on the boat between eleven and four, and that is the day working.
